Trial Date Set for WaMu Investor Lawsuit
Washington Mutual must face a trial over who owns $4 billion in low-ranking debt before the bank can end its bankruptcy, Bloomberg News reported. A United States bankruptcy judge has scheduled a trial of the investor lawsuit for Nov. 1. That date coincides with the first day of a confirmation hearing on WaMu’s reorganization proposal. [...]
